Questions

Firmware, answered.

Does VMS Nexus install firmware on recorders?

No. It tells you which recorders need updating and to which version. Installing remains a planned, human decision.

Can a check lock a recorder out?

No. Checks use digest authentication only and stop immediately if a login is refused.

What if a model has no approved target?

VMS Nexus suggests the newest build already running on the same model in your estate, which you can accept with one click.
